The DLS Pay Specialist is responsible for reviewing Disability and Leave Services (DLS) pay accuracy and timeliness. This role will work closely global teams in the US, Costa Rica, and India. They will partner with DLS Case Managers, Employee Resource Center (ERC), payroll, and the Global Employee Receivable Management (GERM) teams to resolve employee leave or accommodation pay concerns. The ideal candidate is analytical by nature and is able to dive into the details to determine issues and underlying root causes.Roles and Responsibilities-

  • Acts as back-up for payroll processing by using multiple software systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of Payroll

  • Performing Tops Ups, pay review escalation emails and other pay related audits for employees who are on Leaves of Absence

  • Adhere to defined processes and ensure delivery in accordance with set quality standards

  • Ensure the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved

  • Provide guidance, assess risk, resolve issues, and escalate as appropriate for employees, managers, and HR while still maintaining employee’s confidential information

  • Maintain system records to ensure accurate and timely information/documentation

  • Take ownership for query resolution and performance metrics

  • Highlight opportunity areas to domain and process owners to simplify the process

  • Perform activities to ensure compliance with standard work and company policy

  • Detail orientated with ability to analyze, solve, organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Math ability, finance or payroll experience, high critical thinking alongside maintaining accuracy and payroll deadlines

  • Desire to learn more about leave and accommodation laws, policies and processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of human resources experience

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

  • 1+ years of customer service experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field, or High school or equivalent and 1+ years of case management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of human resources functions experience

  • Knowledge of HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems are preferred

  • Experience with Payroll Systems, HRIS
