Google Web Solutions Engineer, gTech in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience building and testing APIs or web applications.

  • 4 years of experience in full-stack web development.

  • 4 years of experience in Java, C++, Python, or related object oriented programming.

  • 4 years of experience in TypeScript/JavaScript front-end programming and Database/SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.

  • Ability to provide effective technical solutions to business issues.

  • Ability to be flexible/adaptable in making decisions in a dynamic environment, prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.

gTech Analytics, Products and Tools team (gAPT) leverages deep user insights and Generative AI technology to improve or automate Google's Ads customer support experiences. gAPT partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to simplify our Ads support products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users. We are leaders of the customer experience, advocating for feature requests, and offering product improvements backed by data-driven insights. Our work enables gTech teams to deliver delightful support to our customers.

As a Web Solutions Engineers, you will innovate and develop software-based solutions for complex business problems.

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable software platforms for teams within gTech.

  • Ensure technical solutions are designed in a way that enables other investigative teams to easily access data for operational reporting and data visualization.

  • Collaborate with product engineers to enhance core platforms and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools.

  • Write and review technical documents including design, development, revision documents, and review code in compiled or scripted languages.

  • Analyze, review, and modify programs to increase operating efficiency or meet new requirements as well as execute testing, debugging, maintenance, or program updates.
