Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.

• Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to identify ambiguous problems, develop effective solutions, and implement them.

• Evidence of firm sense of accountability, ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle, with the ability to autonomously drive and prioritize multiple initiatives.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

As a Strategic Operations Manager, you’ll work with Corp Engineering leadership (in region and globally) and the Corp Engineering Chief of Staff, partner across Corp Engineering pillars (with product operations team members, program managers, product managers, and others) to contribute to the success of Corp Engineering. You’ll shape, drive and sustain initiatives that inform leadership decision-making, and shape the direction of Corp Engineering strategy in Hyderabad and globally.

• Drive overall project strategy then self-start to translate direction into plans, insights, and impact.

• Build new subject matter expertise quickly to develop hypotheses and recommendations for emerging initiatives/inbound requests, leverage business acumen to identify opportunities.

• Own project delivery, keeping multiple, complex plans/roadmaps moving at the same time and landing on schedule.

• Partner with the Corp Engineering India leads, and Chiefs of Staff across Corp Engineering to prioritize and execute sophisticated quantitative analyses, support definition, and measurement approach design for key performance metrics.

• Develop a strategic narrative for our initiatives and effectively communicate goals, approach, and outcomes to senior leadership and to the broader organization.
