Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Build and enhance framework for test automation. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 10 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Quality Suites by understanding Product scope & Requirements.

• Exposure to validating procedures for major Telecom Service providers.

• Building/enhancing automation framework.

• Team Work with Development and System Engineering in delivering Test Scope, Procedures in advance and consolidate validation scope.

• Develop Test suites using Robust Automation frame works.

• Shall be able to derive Test Suites pertaining to field usage, use case scenarios, Functional, System and Application usage.

• Deliver Quality Test Suites for Service Availability, User Experience and focus on Key Performance Measurements.

• Responsible for Product Quality/Feature and review the field findings and continuously augment Test Suites.

• Create Product validation Environment mimicking customer scenarios, and support team for the same. Collaborate with peer teams in issue discussion and reproduction.

• Work independently and Mentor Team where needed.

• To be Passionate about Technology, Product Architecture and look ahead for the Emerging trends. Shall review the Architecture, Functional & Design Specifications.

Skills:

• Shall have 8+ years’ proven product validation experience in Telecom & Datacom Products. Product experience in IMS, VoLTE and RCS is advantageous.

• Product validation expertise with any of these VoIP (SIP/H.323), Networking and IP Security Technologies is a must.

• Able to devlope new framework and enhance existing one

• Ability to write and maintain test automation scripts using TCL/Python/Shell.

• Savvy with Linux, Virtualization, Network Administration and responsible for creating the product environment independently.

• Conversant with Multi-Slot, Multi-Processor, Switching and HW/SW Integration internals.

• Shall possess excellent verbal & communication skills, and expert in writing Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Release Plans.

• Shall work with peer teams and remote teams and shall be team player.

• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
