Microsoft Purview Fundamentals team is looking for a skilled, seasoned, dynamic, and practical Product Manager to lead future design of our infrastructure.

Microsoft Purview is a comprehensive set of solutions that can help your organization govern, protect, and manage data, wherever it lives. Microsoft Purview Fundamentals team is working on providing an efficient, scalable, reliable, and compliant platform to consistently deliver Microsoft Purview features to our customers across multiple environments.We are seeking a Product Manager who is enthusiastic about collaborating closely with our engineering team to modernize our infrastructure to efficiently deliver all Purview solutions to our customers and to meet the growing regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep knowledge understanding of Purview solutions and overview of the infrastructure including various servicesrequired to deliver solutions for our customers.

• Adapt and thrive in an agile and flexible organizational culture and our rapidly changing industry/technology.

• Create successful partnership with Purview services engineering teams and Microsoft Trust (responsible for managing Audit certification) to keep Microsoft Purview solutions to be compliant with the regulatory commitments (GDPR, SOC 2, FedRAMP etc..,) across the following stages.

• Compliant Onboarding of new services/ updates to existing services to ensure that services are compliant and meet all the regulatory controls.

• Maintain Continuous Compliance by working with service owners to complete compliance tasks on time (including BCDR/Failover testing, Monthly/Quarterly reviews)

• Compliance Certification / Audit –work with Microsoft Trust team to understand the audit process, requirements and successfully to address the asks from auditors.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or related areas.

• 8 years+ of experience in Program Management 

• Strong track record of shipping products and services desirable

• Experience working at a systems level and delivering platforms a plus.

• Experience building large-scale services is desirable.
