Google Senior Product Manager, Payments Platform Compliance in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical roles, leading medium to large state-of-the-art complex products that involve multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to translate product direction into technical roadmaps and plans to implement complete solutions, and effectively communicate requirements to cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills, with ability for thought leadership and building strong and productive relationships.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate well on different levels of abstraction - from technical to executive.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

  • Own one of more areas within Payments Anti-Financial Crimes (AFC) platform - Anti Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions Screening or Regulatory reporting.

  • Work with Payments Compliance business stakeholders to understand, measure, and prioritize individual needs aimed at reducing regulatory, brand and other payments compliance risks.

  • Work with first-party integrators such as Google Cloud or Google Play to understand their regulatory needs, define and launch products/solutions to enable their business growth.

  • Build out a strategy and roadmap for smart alerting using AI/ML to reduce false positives/negatives and/or the review tools used by hundreds of analysts.

  • Develop and manage complex and large-scale end to end projects for Payments Compliance core platform, working closely with multiple cross-functional partners to ensure on-time delivery.
