About the Job:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is passionate about seeing customer succeeded and ensuring best-in-class product quality, the objective of the role is to perform data procurement for testing teams. With the Test Data Management team, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing team that is embarking on a multi-year implementation as part of an on-going digital modernization effort.

As the project team ramps up, you will have the chance to help define and shape the vision of how the solution will be maintained and monitored to meet the business’ needs.

Experience Level: 3 – 7 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective resolution of incoming data quality requests.

  • Review the assignments, understand the data requirement and mine the data as per the requirement.

  • Monitor and ensure that overall data procurement processes are aligned with a standard one data request process across all test phases and teams.

  • Work with Leads & Architect for planning, Assignment & reporting.

  • Daily task of gathering, consolidating, aggregating, and ensuring quality with the data.

  • Monitor chats and host working sessions with impacted teams and ensure there is a path forward and active investigation on open data requests.

  • Effectively communicate with other teams to meet business and information needs.

  • Mitigate impediments and fosters a work environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous the team’s workflow, and relentless improvements.

  • Responsible for mining specific data from a pool of data and have it validated across applications.

  • Mining data from production and loading into test environment.

  • Should Work with clients to better understand current and future requirements.

  • Collaborate and retain connections with external support team.

Primary / Mandatory skills:

Overall – 3 to 7 years of experience in Product Testing with minimum 2+ years of experience on Test Data management

  • Experience in Telecom Industry is mandatory.

  • Experience in testing, CRM, Web Application, Networking, Equipment Billing & Order Management

  • Should have good experience with Elastic Search

  • Excellent SQL skills with experience of analyzing and visualizing large data set and automation processes.

  • Previous experience in working with complex data collection and analysis.

  • Experience in 2 or more Databases listed- Oracle, Couch, SOLR, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.

  • Experience in working with Elastic Search administration like Elastic Search Management, Logstash Configuration, Performance Optimization, Monitoring and Alerts.

  • Experience in working with Cloud Technologies like Azure, RHET.

  • Proficiency with any programming languages like Python, Pyspark, Java, etc.

  • Should have ETL testing knowledge.

  • Should have hands on experience with automated testing in either Web/Mobile or API automation using Selenium/Appium/Rest Assured.

  • Should have a good understanding of API testing and be able to perform API testing using relevant tools like Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
