The Global Delivery Center (GDC), part of WW Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD), is a strong 1600-member organization, primarily based in India, with a charter to deliver emerging and growth solutions for our customers worldwide. The GDC is a center of deep technical expertise, customer innovation and delivery excellence and is core to all ISD’s transformation projects with customers around the world. GDC also includes the Partner Delivery Orchestration Center (PDOC), a strategic engine, built with a select group of GSIs on a sell-with and deliver-with strategy, to migrate emerging and mature workloads to the cloud, at scale, for Microsoft customers, to enable their digital transformation journeys.

We are looking for Program Directors to lead large, strategic and high value transformational deployments from GDC from origination through delivery stabilization. The role is expected to orchestrate delivery on strategic projects in close partnership with global cross functional teams across ISD and the larger Microsoft ecosystem. This role will play an integral role on project governance and steering committees with the customer and internal stakeholders, to enable high quality technical deployments through an efficient, scalable and fiscally prudent approach.

Responsibilities

  • You will represent GDC in the delivery of large transformational deals from origination through delivery stabilization. This includes working with cross-functional, cross-organizational teams and providing customer-facing executive leadership through the delivery lifecycle.

  • As the appointed leader for strategic customer delivery, you will orchestrate across architects, project managers and technical delivery teams within GDC.

  • This includesdriving the strategy for project delivery aligned with committed project outcomes and development of robustproject plans to drive predictable delivery outcomes.

  • As the strategic GDC leader you will orchestrate the initiation and mobilization of delivery teams and ensure alignment and land expected delivery outcomes.

  • You will be a part of Microsoft steering committees and enable faster executive decision making, escalation path for delivery and triage with engineering.

  • You will be accountable for the financial performance of the deal, including Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR), ISD revenue and gross margin, in addition to the core GDC delivery metrics

  • Ensure effective quality management and change control techniques across the delivery cycle.

  • You will be responsible for anchoring key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through strategic and targeted communications, preventing and managing escalations proactively to drive high customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 20+ years experience in project management

  • OR equivalent experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Experience in driving large transformational projects as CTO/CIO of large corporation or as a delivery leader at a technology/ITservices organization

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 20+ years experience in project management,

  • OR equivalent experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.

  • 8+ years financial management experience.

  • Agile certification, Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master One (PSM1) certification.

  • OR Experience in creating and managing intellectual property (IP).

  • OR Experience in creating publications.
