Oracle Principal Member of Technical Staff in HYDERABAD, India
Job Description
Oracle’s Fusion Applications group is designing and building the next-gen architecture for it’s suite of applications. Our team is building a platform for the Fusion Applications group that operates at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment.
We are looking for senior engineers and architects to work in an agile and fast paced environment building this cloud platform of the future. As a successful candidate, you will have strong experience architecting complex cloud native service deployments .
You will be responsible for all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to coding, testing, CI/CD, and operational support. We build new product software, there is no legacy code to support. We own our own applications - we deploy and operate them, and we see them being used every day by our customers.
We are literally on the bleeding edge in terms of the technology stack. Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Go-lang, Scala and Terraform all are key components of our stack.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
12+ years of software development experience.
Experience in: Go-lang, Terraform, Kubernetes
Preferred Qualification/Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related field experience
Expert knowledge in Go-lang and Kubernetes
Technical expertise in the field of Docker driven workflows and operations with Kubernetes
Experience using Terraform and Helm
Experience with Kubernetes operators is a strong plus
Expertise architecting large products or services
Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Responsibilities
As a senior member of product development team you are expected to
Design and build cloud native products and solutions
Take ownership of a product area and drive from architecture to deployment
Guide a team of bright engineers in best practices
Establish strong product engineering practices in the team
