The People Business Partner provides a full range of HR business support to clients within one or more departments local to our India team. The candidate also works cross-functionally with our business teams to drive high performance and achieve results in a high-growth oriented company.

This role will partner closely with the functional People Business Partner team to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of executive leadership. The People Business Partner works directly with the local team to consult, educate, advise, and influence on issues involving, but not limited to: employee relations, team dynamics, talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement and retention, performance management, manager coaching, compensation planning, and change management.

The People Business Partner will also work closely with the India People Team and broader People function to identify, design, and implement initiatives that support the business needs of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with both managers and employees to understand business needs and objectives, develop talent strategies and implement solutions that address business performance needs, and support team members in realizing their maximum potential

  • Partner with the India People Team and broader People function to drive high impact initiatives such as talent assessment, professional development, performance management, compensation, and employee engagement and retention

  • Conduct ongoing analyses of the organization. Monitor and interpret trends and metrics around employee satisfaction, attrition, and turnover

  • Drive data integrity by facilitating and submitting HRIS transaction updates related to people and organizational changes

  • Manage, investigate and resolve ER issues or something of that nature

  • Partner with India People Team and functional People Business Partner team to establish recommendations for improvement or enhancements based on analysis

  • Collaborate and manage relationships with other partners and key stakeholders

  • Partner with local Talent Acquisition team to drive proactive recruitment strategies

  • Work to ensure business leaders have a talent management mindset, enabling employee growth and development that allows teams to meet their full potential while driving business results

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and the broader HR community to support shared services and self-sufficiency capabilities, scalable workforce, and workplace strategies

  • Provide guidance and support in handling employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • 8 + years’ HR related experience

  • Demonstrated success and experience as an HR Business Partner working within a complex and high-growth company

  • Exceptional customer service skills, including the desire to make others successful

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a passion for data integrity, process definition, and continuous learning

  • Results-driven, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in two or more functional areas within HR (e.g. employee relations and investigations, employee development, talent acquisition, organizational development, systems, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence

  • This role requires office presence at our Hyderabad office 3-4 days a week, where the individual is expected to be in the office from 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. IST with flexibility for adjustments as needed
