In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Should have at least 5+ years of strong hands-on experience working on Varicent tool functional/configuration developer:
Job Expectations:
Should have at least 5+ years of strong hands-on experience working as Workday Adaptive developer with hands-on on Workday HCM.
Experience in leading initiatives - from conception till closure. Work as an SME by understanding the big picture of the overall HCM/Adaptive ecosystem.
Experience in Integrations - EIB's, Core Connectors, Studio.
Experience working and developing application using Workday Adaptive
Experience in creating/modifying Sheets, reports, models
Experience in developing Reports in HCM
Analyze business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign solutions
Understanding of Headcount planning, financial planning.
Experience in understanding business/process, reviewing the user stories/requirements, development, testing.
Knowledge on HCM Modules including Core HR.
Proven experience in relational database technologies and familiarity with DB design.
Understands the usability and accessibility aspects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must
Work on the practice development activities.
Experience working in Agile teams, knowledge of Scrum construct and be part of all agile/scrum ceremonies
Understand the integration between Workday HCM and Adaptive - user sync, security
