ModMed (http://www.modmed.com) is hiring a Data Conversion Consultant Level 1 . Professional Services-Tech Services-GI.

The Data Conversion Consultant Level 1 manages and executes data conversion projects, including but not limited to practice management conversions, clinical discrete data conversions, and document load conversions. The Data Conversion Consultant Level 1 manages all aspects of the project from planning and coordination to post go-live support and providing customer delight.

Your Role:

  • Obtain information from customers and vendors necessary to perform a data conversion project.

  • Analyze legacy data to estimate/benchmark project scope and length.

  • Run and test converted data according to technical specifications.

  • Perform data corrections through analyzing data for errors and formulating corrective procedures.

  • Resolve technical issues with conversion.

  • Develop and execute database queries as required.

  • Perform all data conversion activities and tasks (crosswalks and data mapping activities) necessary to assure the data is imported properly before going live.

  • Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the organization to define business rules and cleansing requirements for the data transformation process.

  • Archive and setup environment for EMR data conversions.

  • Document all progress related to the project using all applicable tools (Salesforce, JIRA and Harvest).

  • Communicate with customers undergoing implementations to clarify new cases, follow up on open cases, monitor progress, and ensure satisfaction. Verify that implemented solutions meet customer expectations.

  • Provide post-live support for a designated period of time followed by a transition to Client Services.

  • Provide recommendations on industry leading best practices, services, and systems used for the improvement of data quality.

  • Work with other team members to efficiently troubleshoot issues related to data migration.

  • Initiate application upgrades with appropriate parties when necessary to complete the data conversion project.

  • Refer cases to appropriate departments for issue resolution when necessary and follow up to assure timely completion.

  • Provide support and communication via email, phone, and in person.

  • Be a hands-on, active team member of the Data Services organization.

  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer experience.

  • Perform tasks off-hours as needed to complete specific projects or tasks.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.

  • Project management and successful Customer service delivery experience.

Typically requires 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. Industry knowledge of data conversions used in the GI specialty as well as GI procedure workflow is ideal.

  • Data manipulation, handling and mapping is required

  • SQL, CSV files and mastery of excel

  • Knowledge of Data Conversion Tool and best practices

  • Proficient in various business applications and tools including, but not limited to gSuite, Windows 7, 8, 10, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN Clients and Remote access software. Windows Server 2008-2016 and SQL Server 2008-2016.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and create technical documents such as data conversion specifications and procedure manuals.

  • Maintains a positive and open attitude to change with an ability to adapt to new situations.

  • Ability to quickly learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information.

  • Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or employees.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to effectively work independently and coordinate team effort.

  • Must have experience in developing and integrating business processes.

  • Knowledge of clinical workflow and operations is preferred.
