Overview

Job Title: Associate People Business Partner

The Associate People Business Partner will assist in executing our human resources strategies that support business objectives and employee needs in partnership with our Senior People Business Partners. This role includes responsibilities for various HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations:
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and grievances promptly and effectively.

  • Support employees on various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues.

  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.

  1. Performance Management:
  • Support the performance review process and ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.

  • Assist in managing the staff performance appraisal process and provide employees and managers with information.

  1. Talent Development and Management:
  • Support talent acquisition and recruitment processes.

  • Assist with new employee onboarding and training programs.

  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals and assist in deploying appropriate programs.

  1. HR Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  1. Strategic Initiatives:
  • Work closely with Senior People Business Partners, management, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Contribute to the development and achievement of HR department goals and objectives.

  1. Reporting:
  • Assist in preparing regular reports on HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates) and provide inputs for departmental budgeting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5 or more years of experience in an HR role

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.

  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.

  • Good understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.

  • Proficient in MS Office; HRIS systems experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Customer-focused, organized, collaborative, proactive, and accountable

Working Conditions:

  • Work across multiple time zones in a hybrid work environment

  • Long periods of time sitting and standing in front of a computer using video technology
