Amazon AM Development Manager, International Seller Growth in Hyderabad, India

We at Seller Delight & Growth (SDG) team are looking for a seasoned and inspirational program/ project manager to manage process excellence and account manager excellence work streams in a central function.

The mission of Central function in SDG team is to design & improve programs/initiatives. The role will own solving AM team's issues, scaling processes and initiating future looking projects. The person will interface with business leaders across the team and drive projects to improve Sales team efficiency, and skill set of account managers.

The successful candidate will have to thrive in an ambiguous environment, be able to think big to build/contribute to multi-year business strategies, be able to influence and work with multiple internal teams, and develop processes and mechanisms that are scalable.

Further, the ideal candidate demonstrates high level of ownership, understands the key levers to drive business growth and partners effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of SQL, Quicksight development is good to have skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Establish partnerships with internal sales team, conducting deep dives and surveys on AM team's working and identify areas of friction and automation opportunity.

  • Iterate and innovate mechanisms; standardize and optimize for scale and deploy the mechanisms across marketplaces.

  • Define strategy and requirements for account management team's process improvement, development & training, and drive change management.

  • Drive adoption of internal tools across teams and facilitate new content creation by working with local SMEs.

  • Partner with L&D teams/external agencies to rollout trainings & certification to improve AM skill-set (negotiations/objection handling/ Persuasion skills).

  • Develop mechanisms to monitor performance, uses data to provide insights to business leaders, and is able to effectively represent the function in various forums (WBRs/MBRs/QBRs etc.)

  • Takes data driven decisions to prioritize strategic initiatives, focus areas etc.

  • Develop weekly metrics to track critical inputs and outputs and report out in weekly business reviews and regular flash reports to senior management

The job requires you to hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will define your success

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

  • Experience of project/program management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing key open issues and resolution metrics for each of the managed accounts

  • Experience of building L&D and skill evaluation resources
