Your role and responsibilities

You will be a member of the worldwide WebSphere Application Server development team. You will actively participate in developing cutting edge technology for development ecosystem, helping developers around the world to easily and seamlessly develop cloud native applications on Open Liberty platform. Your collaboration and presentation skills will be essential in our collaborative efforts with Red Hat and the cloud-native Java communities on open source projects.

Required technical and professional expertise

Programming languages Java and scripting languages and XML

Knowledge of cloud-native and enterprise Java technologies such as Java EE, Jakarta EE and MicroProfile

Knowledge of source control systems such as Git and Github

Good communication skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

Knowledge of DevOps processes for agile development

Experience with enterprise Java application development and deployments

Understanding of Cloud and Cloud Native development

Knowledge of microservices

Experience as Open Source contributor

Experience using and knowledge of APIs of Various IDEs:
