We are looking for a strong technical and people leader to lead a group of Systems engineers as a people manager and a program discipline lead developing within the CEMA Business Area. You will be responsible for the execution of system activities for the program and supporting the product line, including financial and technical responsibility. You will work with the Product Line Discipline Engineering Lead, along with the leads of the other engineering disciplines to ensure program success.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on Threat Warning related programs

  • Manage all system engineering content and work products

  • Understand and implement the product development process

  • Schedule and cost account responsibilities for systems team

  • Execute systems planning and requirements development

  • Create and review systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts

  • Allocate requirements to engineering disciplines

  • Create system test plans, procedures and reports

  • Lead product design, development, integration, and verification

  • Have outside contact with customers, other contractors and government officials.

  • Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations internally and with customers.

  • Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures

  • Support proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and motivate technical teams.

  • Experience leading software or systems program teams.

  • Secret Security Clearance (active within the past two years).

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or related field, and minimum of 12 years of work experience or equivalent experience

  • Extensive background in embedded and/or application development.

  • Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.

  • Experience with modern engineering techniques, such as Model Based Engineering, Agile, DevSecOps, Containerization, etc.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience developing systems for countermeasure and electronic attack solutions products, including electro-optic sensors and systems.

  • Strong closing skills

  • Strong communicator

  • EVMS experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $127900 - $217400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
