We are recruiting aSolution-Level Software Systems Engineerwho will support the Army's PEO Missiles and Space IFMC PM in Huntsville AL. Candidates will be presented to Government Customer for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a System Engineer position supporting the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems.
• The Engineer will work with contractors, government civilians and system operators to develop system level concepts that provide solutions to problems that often involve multiple systems from multiple product offices.
• These concepts define external interfaces, outline system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to support HW and SW engineering teams.
• Tasks may also include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the concepts. Concept development will utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile workflow and environment.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• 7 or more years of system engineering experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, software, hardware, requirement decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and being a team player in a small team environment and comfortable working as a team member in an Agile environment.
• Ability to engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions can meet the needs of the intended users.
• Highly organized with a strong technical background in system engineering principles.
• Ability to acquire or possess (as well as maintain) a US Secret security clearance.

Additional Desired Experience:

• System engineering experience in support of DoD programs is highly desired, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense program.
• Hands on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF are desired.
• Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe Agile experience are a plus.
