9th Way Insignia is looking for a Proposal Manager to join our corporate team. Our corporate team is comprised of high-performing, collaborative members with a balance of skills and over two centuries of combined experience.

The Proposal Manager is responsible for the 9th Way Insignia proposal process using our standard operating procedures (SOP). He or she supports the Business Development Unit, often serving as the point of contact for matters relating to the proposal process, schedule, and production logistics. This position is the lead role in managing a proposal process for an RFI/RFQ/RFP by coordinating, facilitating, writing, and producing proposals that adhere to the proposal process SOP in alignment with specific types of proposal and contract vehicles.

Responsibilities

Lead, oversee, and manage the proposal response activities in all stages, including coordination with partners, team reviews, strategic development of theming and conceptual ideas / approach, responses to inquiries from the government, and data requests from partners Maintain a high degree of knowledge and capability in the development and execution of the entire Proposal Management Cycle Analyze and perform a decomposition of Requests for Proposal (RFP) through maintaining a thorough understanding of the Federal Government acquisition process Develop and integrate win strategies, themes, discriminators, and value propositions into all aspects of the proposal Produce high-caliber, well-structured finished written products from a variety of source inputs Serve as primary POC for teaming partners regarding proposal/data requests and activities Be responsible for effective communication, proposal team relationship management and coordination activities with teaming partners Prepare proposal outlines, delivery schedules, and production plans Coordinate with support functions to ensure appropriate resources are assigned to support the proposal (e.g., contracts, PCO, subcontracts, pricing) Coordinate and participate in internal proposal reviews Manage the proposal production for internal reviews and the successful final submission Effectively manage multiple proposals

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in English, Business Management, or related field Additional education or training in proposal writing, management, or related desirable Experience may be substituted for a degree Well-developed project and time management skills Thorough knowledge of Federal Government acquisition processes and principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated desktop publishing skills Ability to communicate ideas effectively to all levels within the organization Strong leadership skills Ability to be flexible, maintain a positive attitude, and work collaboratively to develop a team environment Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with additional hours as needed to meet proposal deadlines

Location This is a remote position.

Compensation $90,000-100,000
