We are currently seeking a Technical Project Engineer in Huntsville, AL to work on a variety of aerospace projects.

Job Duties:

· Leading and providing direction to team members and facilitating mitigation plans

· Leading and driving cross-functional collaboration and coordination to lead team to successfully meet program plan

· Work with team members to manage open risks, coordinate mitigation plans with a cross functional team and drive risks to closure

· Support of test activities tied to risk and HW mitigation plans.

· Helping with plans, schedule, prioritization, and risk mitigation associated with HW testing and test

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelors in engineering with five to seven years of experience or Masters in Engineering with three to five years of experience with control systems is highly desirable. Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or Electrical is required.

· Effective in leading teams and driving initiatives

· Effective communication skills at multiple levels (Engineering, Chief Engineering, Management)

· Strong background and familiarity with engine processes and hardware testing methodologies

· Knowledge of test stand development for hardware verification and validation

· Energetic, organized, and proactive project engineer to track project tasks while aligning to project scope, schedule, cost, and risk

· US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

· Experience with aircraft applications and knowledge of Requirement Management Systems (DOORS, DNG)

· Experience with liquid rocket engines

· Experience with Project Management Tools and processes

· Experience with Atlassian tools

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
