Job Description:

The Intelligence Analyst directly supports a federal law enforcement client’s Insider Threat (IT) program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares parts of more complex studies or reports which include all aspects related to their specifically-defined geographic or functional areas

• Responsible for the evaluation and interpretation of their findings

• Applies and modified (if necessary) established intelligence practices to specific problems which involve many variables

• Prepares basic-descriptive and current-reportorial intelligence reports, collection manuals, and instructions to field collectors in their assigned area of responsibility

• Evaluates incoming reports and information

• Provides specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support

• Accesses and performs research on designated automated intelligence databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the customer, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer

• Provides intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the customer's requirements

• Develops information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other designated products in support of the customer's information and technical support requirements

• Presents briefings to personnel designated by the customer

• Conducts Analytical and critical thinking; (i.e. Understand problem set, review facts, make accurate observations and judgements and provide recommendations to management)

• Writes clear, concise, and timely intelligence products that identify, analyze and collate disparate pieces of information

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience are required

• Must be able to sit 90% of the time

• Ability to grasp/pick up objects/reach for objects 100% of the time

• Ability to speak/communicate with clients and colleagues 100% of the time

• Listening/sight and use of hands to operate/activate/use /prepare/inspect - use of office equipment 100% of the time

• Employee is not substantially exposed to adverse conditions (typical office or administrative environment)
