The Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNandC) team is a high performing group executing challenging tasks to design and integrate GNandC systems for NASA projects ranging from NASAs Space Launch System(SLS) to NASAs Human Lander System. We are searching for highly qualified candidates to support NASAs Flight Dynamics Team in the Guidance, Navigation, and Mission Analysis branch at NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center. Job Requirements: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related field is required. A degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D. with a minimum 4 years of experience; MS with at least 8 years of experience, or a BS with at least 10 years of experience. Required: Significant navigation experience Technical leadership experience Deep space navigation including ground tracking orbit determination or similar experience Onboard strap on navigation, including IMU, Radar/Lidar, sensor fusion, and Kalman filtering or similar experience Detail oriented Work independently and collaboratively Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
