SMX is seeking a highly skilled Graphics/Presentation Designer to join a team of professionals charged to design, develop, and field the next generation of vertical lift for Army Aviation.

This role is instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, designing, and producing a wide range of graphic and illustrative materials for charts, newsletters, and presentations. This is a hybrid position is located in Huntsville, AL.

The Graphics/Presentation Designer will:

• Establish visual direction for org-wide templates

• Undertake design responsibilities as assigned by the team

• Provide graphic support on various creative projects

• Knowledge and application of both print and digital processes to produce high-quality deliverables

• Collaborate with separate teams to articulate messaging/presentations

• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and other digital design tools to execute design tasks

Required skills and experience:

• Clearance Required: Secret

• BS/BA plus 15 years experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of Graphic design

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop

• Strong visual design skills, including a solid understanding of color theory, composition, typography, and layout

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts

• Initiative-taking, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision

• Excellent skills with graphic design with PowerPoint presentations

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred
