Job Title: Extrusion Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Extrusion Supervisor with a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in plastics, extrusion experience, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Candidates with robust leadership qualities and solid intangibles are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team on the manufacturing floor.

• Ensure efficient and quality production of plastic products.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Document and maintain production records.

• Train team members and lead by example.

• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.

• Experience in plastics industry preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in documentation and computer skills.

• Knowledge of extrusion processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in pipe manufacturing, food manufacturing, or injection molding.

• Leadership development skills.

• Ability to work hard and lead by example.

• Commitment to improving team dynamics.

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility. You will be working on the manufacturing floor producing building products and advertising materials. The company values commitment and initiative, and candidates must have excellent attendance records. The shift schedule includes 7-7 shifts on a 2-2-3 day schedule, with positions available on both day and night shifts.
