Job Title:Entry Level Systems Administrator FLSA:Exempt Clearance:Required Location:Huntsville, AL Job Type:Full time

NTA, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Systems Administrator to support our Cyber team and external IT team in Network Administration and Inventory Management. Duties include working closely with the Information System Security Officer and third-party IT provider by maintaining infrastructure and firewalls, monitoring quarantined emails, facilitating network scans, providing technical support to end users, addressing hardware and software issues, configuring networking equipment and accounts, managing hardware and software inventories, and updating/maintaining documentation for compliance. Additionally, supporting maintenance and enhancement tasks of existing IT efforts and stand-alone applications as well as other duties assigned. Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

Required:

  • Experience with Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of 800-171 and CMMC requirements
  • Experience running vulnerability scans
  • Inventory management experience
  • A high level of computer skills is required, along with organizational skills
  • Applicant should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Applicant should be able to communicate clearly verbally and in written correspondence
  • Must be able to consistently lift and or move equipment of 50 pounds

Desired:

  • Experience in Linux operating systems
  • VPN and firewall experience
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification
  • CompTIA A+
