Position Description: Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for an Electrical Engineer/Physicist to support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) Technical Center, Space and High-Altitude Directorate in Huntsville, AL. The Electrical Engineer/Physicist will support efforts to design, develop, and test Space Domain Awareness (SDA); Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR); and Command and Control (C2) Science and Technology (SandT) projects entailing Optical and Radio Frequency (RF) sensing and communications. This position requires a talented Electrical Engineer/Physicist that can work with a multi-disciplined team to perform engineering analysis to guide requirement design, development, and Test and Evaluation (TandE). The Electrical Engineer/Physicist will assist with systems engineering activities and development for hardware, software, and integrated systems. In addition, the Electrical Engineer/Physicist will assist with laboratory and field experimentation and demonstrations.

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide Optical and RF sensing and communications expertise. Derive and maintain system technical requirements and engineering artifacts. Provide technical guidance during system design, development, and TandE. Provide oversight and/or perform complex integration activities. Perform system experimentation, demonstrations, and TandE. Exercise independent and professional judgment under moderate supervision.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field. Minimum 3 years experience with applications entailing Optical and/or RF sensing and communications. Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. U.S. citizenship with a SECRET clearance (Required) with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance (Preferred).

Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field. Experience with DoD SDA, ISR, and C2 missions.

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
