Our client is seeking cleared Data Analysts to join their team. This is a W2 contract and will be onsite in Huntsville, AL. This also requires an ACTIVE Top-Secret clearance.

Experis, in partnership with our federal integrator client, is seeking a Data Analyst with expertise in working with both structured and unstructured data. This role involves transforming complex data sets into valuable information to solve challenges, inform decisions, deliver value, and make significant mission impacts.

As a client-facing data analyst on our federal integrator client's team, you will use your skills and experience to support the client's mission and leverage data that can make life-saving differences. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and answer their questions, delivering solutions as you navigate data-rich environments to piece together their information puzzle. You will provide a deep understanding of their data, advising clients on its implications and how it can be used to impact threat mitigation and case management. Additionally, you’ll have opportunities to recommend new and improved processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to inform client and stakeholder requirements.

  • Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through manipulation, extraction, and automation of large data sets.

  • Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.

  • Apply people skills and data analytics experience to simplify technical requirements, results, and trends, based on your mixed target audience.

  • Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases, scripting languages such as Python, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Power BI.

  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive outcomes.

  • Apply data visualization in different formats, particularly focused on leveraging the functionality and benefits of Power BI.

  • Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions across Law Enforcement.

Minimum Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with data analytics, statistical analysis, and data visualization concepts

  • 4+ years of experience using Excel features, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables, to maximize results from large data sets

  • 2+ years of experience using Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau in big data environments to create interactive dashboards and features, actionable alerting, and deep data exploration

  • Ability to facilitate data manipulation, data extraction, and automation tasks utilizing Python programming

  • Ability to provide valuable insights for analysts by analyzing operational data in order to make logical conclusions

  • Ability to effectively comprehend and decompose stakeholder data requirements, and report and communicate complex findings and dense data-rich results to non-technical decision-makers and stakeholders

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Have:

  • Experience using C# to facilitate data manipulation, data extraction, and automation tasks

  • Experience leveraging Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to automate processing and customize outputs

  • Experience with SQL

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Master’s degree

  • Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification

  • Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
