COLSA Corporation AMC AMP PMO Lead in Huntsville, Alabama

Analyzes program activities such as acquisition cost, schedule, and performance related to Army Materiel Command (AMC) Army Metering Program (AMP).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

  • Provides leadership to lower level employees.

  • Reviews policy, directives, and regulations and develops Comment Response Matrixes.

  • Responds to official taskers using ETMS2.

  • Develops Command policy for official staffing through to signature.

  • Monitors program performance and provides status information to senior stakeholders related to AMC AMP.

  • Provides a range of technical and consultative services to assist the customer in effectiveness and efficiency of operations, resources, and programs related to AMP at the Army Materiel Command, Headquarters, Department of Army, and Office of Security of Defense.

  • Develops recommendations based on in-depth analysis of issues and consideration of overall AMC AMP mission requirements, budgetary constraints, and technological advances.

  • Develops requirements and documents, task planning, project schedules and budgets, and prepares white papers on positions and/or concepts related to AMC AMP.

  • Develops, delivers, and leads technical briefings and reports to senior stakeholders at the Army Materiel Command, Headquarters, Department of Army, and Office of Security of Defense.

  • Develops and analyzes training materials and evaluates the overall performance of training programs within AMC AMP. May deliver training programs.

  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates special activities at the Army Materiel Command, Headquarters, Department of Army, and Office of Security of Defense level.

  • May work within specialized military databases to review reports and manage data.

  • May prepare specific reports (meeting minutes, trip reports, senior leader briefings, and Course of Action (COA) briefings) and reviews reports for discrepancies.

  • Will liaison with other departments and/or customers on assigned programs.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Former military officer, action officer, warrant officer or NCO, training instructor, or other related role in direct support of military operations.

  • Minimum of 10-15 years related experience.

  • Active Secret security clearance required.

  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience with ETMS2.

  • Experience with Army Metering Program.

  • Experience writing OPORD, EXORD, and/or FRAGO’s.

  • Experience with AMC, AMC MSC, HQDA, and/or OSD.
