Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Produce high quality, personal and accurate forecasts Create state of the art graphics that effectively tell the weather story of the day and whats to come Learn or improve skills with augmented reality Must stay active on social media and provide strong web coverage Passion for severe weather Must be willing to work alternate hours when needed for severe weather coverage Ability to do live shots and deliver weather coverage that informs and keeps viewers engaged Must be involved in community and signature station events Be a team player The candidate must have a strong knowledge of meteorology with an emphasis on accuracy and personalized forecasts. The candidate will see plenty of opportunities to grow with regular feedback and on-site training with our team of meteorologists with combined decades of experience. Our tri-state area experiences four seasons with a variety of severe weather, including heavy rain, snow and high winds. The candidate must be a leader who brings energy, confidence and personality to our newscasts and newsroom.
