Early Head Start Teacher I

*Location: *Mount Union

*Position Information: *Full Year/Full Time

*Hours: *40 hours per week; Monday through Friday

Description:

• Works with infants and toddlers in a classroom setting 6 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Ensures the safety and wellbeing of children.
• Creates lesson plans.
• Follows the Creative Curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards.
• Supervises Teacher II's assigned to the classroom.
• Meets with parents and shares the progress of their children four times per year.

Requirements:

Must possess, at a minimum, a Child Development Associate (CDA) and a PA driver's license. Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's or Associate's in Early Childhood Education or related degree.

*Most hours are daylight; however, occasional evening meetings will occur, and on rare occasions, a Saturday training or activity may be expected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.21 per hour
