Our Client, a Fortune 100 energy company who specializes in pioneering new research and pursuing new technologies to create more efficient forms of energy, is seeking a Materials Scientist to join their growing team. Type : Contract

Responsibilities

• Perform polymer, fiber and FRP mechanical testing

• Perform advanced composite characterization

• Maintenance of composite materials characterization equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Materials/Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace engineering.

• Basic materials characterization (Optical/electron microscopy, TGA, DSC, DMA/Rheology)

• Basic experience with experimental mechanics (Instron/MTS, Tensile Testing)

• Familiarity of polymer composites

• Experience with scripting packages like Matlab preferred.
