PharmacistJob Description

Provides pharmaceutical services to long term care and institutionalized patients, maximizing quality and patient safety. Participates in and oversees the dispensing of medication in compliance with federal and state regulations. Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness, recommends therapy changes, maintains patient databases, ensures necessary lab tests are ordered and evaluated, collaborates with healthcare teams, documents communications, implements drug procurement and disposal policies, and assists with safe drug handling procedures.

Work Environment

Monday-Friday 10am - 6pm, with the requirement to work 2 weekends a month from 12-4pm.
