Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer (PE) is critical in supporting ITS and Security products for key customers across EMEA, both in-house and on-site.

Embedded within the Integrated Solutions support team, the PE provides post-sales support and services, including cameras and software, and periodically travels to customer locations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned projects.

• Provide customer and internal teams with expert application, integration, and product support.

• Review tender specifications and work with sales engineers to offer the best solution based on the requirements.

• Assist with system commissioning, system upgrades, and conducting full system acceptance testing.

• Create as-built and system maintenance documentation.

• Provide system-specific user/maintenance training.

• Deliver both remote and on-site technical support to internal and external stakeholders.

• Guide technical support representatives in troubleshooting applications and products.

• Take ownership of assigned projects and escalated support cases from inception to resolution.

• Collaborate with product engineering teams to report and address identified issues.

Job Qualifications:

• A technical degree in electronics is required.

• Minimum of five years’ experience as a support engineer, preferably in the traffic or security electronics sector.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately one week per month).

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while collaborating with sales, product management, support, and service teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

• Proven experience with technical installation and troubleshooting of CCTV systems, servers, and network equipment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.

• Strong working knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS/Red Hat), Windows Server, and Docker platforms. Python scripting experience is a plus.

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
