TRAVELING PIPEFITTER GOING TO WASHINGTON $25-$50

Location: Tri-Cities, WA

Compensation: $25-$50/hour + $120 per diem

About the Role:

Join our team as a Traveling Pipefitter and take on an exciting role building and maintaining intricate pipe systems. This opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals eager to work on diverse projects. You'll leverage your expertise in reading blueprints, setting up installation plans, and ensuring the smooth operation of pipe systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints to guide pipe installation.

• Site Preparation: Inspect and prepare construction sites to ensure readiness for pipe installation.

• Pipe Work: Measure, cut, and assemble pipes using various materials, including carbon and stainless steel.

• System Testing: Test pipe systems to identify and resolve malfunctions, leaks, or breakages.

• Tool Management: Use and maintain a range of tools, ensuring they are in top condition.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other trades and team members to achieve project goals.

• Safety First: Adhere to safety guidelines, wear protective equipment, and contribute to a safe working environment.

Schedule & Pay:

• Standard Shift: 6 AM - 3:30 PM (flexible based on weather and project needs)

• Swing Shifts: Optional 2 PM - 2 AM or 3 PM - 3 AM for an extra $3/hour

• Per Diem: $120 per day or hotel + $40 per day (shared rooms)

• Precision Cutting: Expertise in measuring and cutting pipes accurately.

• Assembly & Lubrication: Skill in assembling and lubricating pipe systems.

• Rigging: Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe pipe handling.

• Mathematics: Strong mathematical abilities for precise measurements and calculations.

• Communication: Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members.

• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
