Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do In This Role:

· You will support and assist the Sterile Processing Manager in providing operations of the Sterile Processing department.

· You will assists in the Quality Improvement Processing of the department.

· You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.

· You will review sterilization records and prepares reports as assigned.

· You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and assume responsibility for unit operation, in absence of the Manager.

· You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department

What qualifications you will need:

· Certification in Central Processing Required (CRST)

· Graduate of a formal Sterile Processing Technology Program required.

· 1-3 years of Sterile Processing experience is required
