Summary

The Business Operations role will support the Vice President, CCS Services. Serve as the Vice President’s Chief of Staff and partner with the segment leadership team to drive execution of key focus areas and strategic initiatives for the segment. The Senior Manager, Business Operations will be responsible for directly supporting the segment leader in business operations, planning, management, metrics, and other work to accelerate and optimize the deployment and execution of the CCS Services strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with CCS Services leadership to drive execution of segment strategy and key initiatives and ensure alignment and collaboration across broader functional teams within Celestica

  • Support Vice President, Services and their direct reports in monitoring progress and performance metrics of the critical segment metrics, annual OKRs, and strategic imperatives to drive accountability

  • Monitor daily operations throughout segment and proactively address potential issues if / when they arise

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives, define actionable implementation plans and roadmaps, align stakeholders and lead successful execution of large and complex change initiatives

  • Support the segment Vice President in preparation for corporate meetings, board meetings and meetings with key external stakeholders, including customers, strategic partners, and investment community

  • Drive and own the CCS Services MOS (management operating system) in alignment with broader CCS MOS

  • Drive deployment of CCS Services strategy including collaboration with other, down through CCS's three distinct businesses (global, portfolio, services)

  • Act as extension of the CCS PMO office driving key strategic and transformation initiatives within CCS Services organization

  • Serve as the lead interface for the functions supporting and interfacing with Services segment (strategy, IT, operations)

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a business or executive management role

  • In-depth experience related to running revenue organizations - e.g. consulting, Corporate Strategy, Business Operations, FPA, Revenue Operations, etc.

  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form

  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

  • Proven track record in validating financials and having a data-driven approach to complex revenue-related challenges

  • Consulting Background: You bring a minimum of 4 years of experience gained at a leading consulting firm such as Bain, McKinsey, BCG, or similar. Your consulting experience equips you with valuable problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset

Experience & Skills

  • Experience developing, leading and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives for large organizations.

  • Experience synthesizing multiple information sources into a coherent framework for addressing business opportunities and challenges.

  • Experience in analyzing Profit & Loss and other financial statements to identify key drivers

  • Ability to display strategic thinking and thought leadership when engaging executives.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and partners and influence executive decision-making, while navigating complex organizational dynamics

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative modeling skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in a leadership role in a strategy function or strategy consulting, with 7+ years of professional experience

  • Strong knowledge of the consumer tech industry (education experience also a plus)

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment

  • Strong business judgment: ability to approach complex business problems in a structured way, simplify, and drive rapidly toward insight

  • Outstanding and proven research and analysis skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong people leadership skills, including the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Fast, flexible, and outcomes-focused: able and excited to thrive with rapid cycles of analysis, decision, and action

Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon or California as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Coast.
