Job Title: Revenue Accountant

Our client, a start up Oil and Gas company is looking to bring on a Revenue Accountant! This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited to be a part of something new and growing!

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Code and process incoming oil and gas receipts.

• Prepare and submit federal, state, and tribal royalty reports as necessary.

• Prepare and submit state and tribal severance tax reports, including coding check requests for tax payments.

• Complete annual escheat reporting.

• Prepare and record quarterly oil and gas revenue accruals.

• Prepare and book quarterly Depreciation, Depletion, and Amortization (DD&A) expense estimates and perform year-end DD&A calculations.

• Reconcile revenue-related general ledger accounts monthly, including oil and gas receivables, royalty payables, and federal/state/tribal payables.

• Maintain monthly payout reports as required.

  Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

• 7+ years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting.

• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex operational information clearly.

• Proficiency in OGsys accounting software (preferably On Demand version), and EnergyLink.
