Alloy Valves and Control Regional Sales Manager in Houston, Texas

[**Description: [Alloy Valves and Control, Inc. (AVCO) is a Southern California based manufacturer of ball valves and flow measurement instrumentation. Our valves are placed in pharmaceutical plants, food/beverage plants, power stations, electric automotive facilities, rocket engines and more. Tesla, SpaceX, Blue Origin, Toyota, PPG, and numerous distilleries worldwide are just a few examples of where you will find AVCO products. [AVCO has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced outside sales professional (Regional Manager) in the Gulf Coast Territory (TX, LA, OK, AR) who will add to our sales growth and provide an exceptional experience for our customers. The position is challenging and rewarding, the environment is friendly and supportive. Industry experience is preferred, but not required - AVCO will provide all necessary product training. The selected candidate will work from home and travel 25-50% of the time to visit customers within the sales territory. There is no cap on commission which provides unlimited upside potential for a successful salesperson.

  • Building on existing customer relationships

``` - Using referrals, social media, Internet searches and cold calls to identify new prospects and turn them into customers

``` - Following up on quotes to close orders

``` - Communicating with inside sales staff regarding ongoing opportunities and projects

  • 3 or more years of previous inside or outside sales experience

``` - Familiarity with sales strategies and tactics either through formal classes or on the job training

``` - Ability to remain proactive in generating sales leads and closing business

``` - Capable of handling difficult customer personalities and resolving conflicts
