The Sulzer Chemtech business unit Clean Fuels and Chemicals Licensing (CFCL) focuses on licensing process technologies and providing engineering services, equipment solutions, and chemicals to a variety of industries like refining & renewables, chemicals & petrochemicals, polymers & plastics recycling.

CFCL is building a growing portfolio of licensed process technologies in emerging markets. For this part of our organization, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to further drive our growth ambitions.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Dream big! Employ your creative thinking to go beyond conventional solutions

  • Contribute to a better tomorrow by developing projects in emerging markets

  • Anticipate clients’ needs and inspire our team to develop innovative solutions

  • Innovatively addressing customers’ needs through a creative and customer centric approach. Be relentless to drive us across the finish line

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of technology licensing, including identification, evaluation negotiation and execution of licensing agreements. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and risk management process

  • Use CRM daily to provide produce updates / accurately forecast order intake

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process or Chemical engineering preferred

  • Extensive professional sales experience in similar business environment/ technology license type business (such as Petrochemicals, Refinery, Renewables, Plastic Recycling, Gas Processing, and/or Polymers)

  • Experienced in opportunity sales strategy design and implementation

  • Interest in renewable fuels and plastics recycling industries with basic understanding of the market drivers in the territory

  • The ability to travel domestic, up to 30%
