The position is responsible for assembling, fitting, and mounting sub-assemblies and components in electrical panelboards. The role requires performing assembly, inspection, and testing to maintain quality standards. Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards based on electrical drawings and work instructions.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

1-3 years Experience in role. Required to understand and surpass all Entry Level duties. Able to perform sub panel layouts, drill and tap holes. Able to perform mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboard under supervision, mounting all pertinent equipment. Perform any other duties as assigned by your Lead person /Supervisor/ Manager. -

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• electical assembly (1 year of experience is preferred)

• wiring (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Blueprints (1 year of experience is required)

• Mechanical Assembling (1 year of experience is required)
