Job Description:

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for effectively managing all tasks related to the payroll process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payroll coordination, ensuring the accurate processing and recording of the company’s complex bi-weekly payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll in a timely and efficient manner

• Verify all overtime hours and ensure they are correctly entered into the payroll system

• Processing employee inquiries regarding payroll matters

• Monitor and resolve any discrepancies promptly

• Manage payroll tax compliance in accordance with local, state, and federal laws

• Ensure the confidentiality of payroll data and protect employee privacy

• Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to synchronize data, improve processes and resolve issues

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar payroll role, ideally 3+ years

• Familiarity with payroll software, such as ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• Experience with local and federal payroll tax requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
