Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Manufacturing Resource Manager to join our team in Houston, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, source, procure all major manufacturing machinery installations, equipment replacement, redesigns and upgrades.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a predictive and preventative maintenance program for all Stabil Drill locations using Hippo Maintenance software system.

  • Help monitor equipment downtime to determine root cause.

  • Oversee planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to maximize availability of equipment to meet company location needs.

  • Responsible for setting up and managing routine service dates on machinery and facilities.

  • Research and develop vendors for the purchasing of parts, tools, and necessary third-party services. Examples include construction projects, installations, facility repairs, etc.

  • Purchases parts and supplies while working with operations on cost effectiveness.

  • Travels to various field location for support.

  • Supervise maintenance staff to ensure all machinery is kept in working order. This includes CNC machines, compressors, exhaust fans/heaters, equipment, lighting, etc.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in designs, operations, facilities, equipment and repair/maintenance.

  • Maintains inventory management of all machinery.

  • Apply knowledge of new innovative technologies, industry trends and developments to improve operations.

  • Demonstrate ownership of business goals by effectively leading the department to align on company objectives.

  • Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.

  • Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage employees directly or through subordinate supervisors. Perform all management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering or closely related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field

  • Working knowledge of CNC machines, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical concepts.

  • Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
