Job Description

An insurance company located in the Katy, Texas area is seeking an iSeries administrator to join its IT organization. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in iSeries system administration, including system configuration, maintenance, security and performance testing. This role will involve collaborating with other internal and third party IT teams/stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our iSeries environment. The ideal candidate will also be able to be onsite at least three days a week.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in iSeries administration and/or development work

• Experience configuring, installing and maintaining IBM iSeries hardware and software components

• Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries hardware, operating systems (OS/400 or IBM i)

• 3+ years' experience with SQL - Any relevant certifications including but not limited to ALDON, SQL, TURNOVER or RPG

• Ability to be onsite 5 days per week null
