Robert Half HRIS Analyst in Houston, Texas
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an HRIS Analyst in our Houston, Texas location. This role involves a focus on timekeeping, payroll, accounts receivable, job costing review, and labor and reconciliation report creation. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will quickly adapt to the company-specific processes and tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently manage timekeeping payroll functions.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of our internal job costing system, ensuring all costs are correctly accounted for.
• Generate labor and reconciliation reports, review AR aging records, and create PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate findings.
• Assist with accounts receivable processes, ensuring efficient management and collection of revenue.
• Quickly and efficiently familiarize oneself with company-specific processes and tasks.
• Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Kronos Timekeeping System is essential
• Demonstrable experience in Payroll management
• Ability to create detailed and comprehensive reports
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of HRIS systems and their applications in HR management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Experience in analyzing data and providing valuable business insights
