Robert Half Help Desk Analyst III in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst III, located in Houston, Texas. The chosen candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and university-supported software. This role is critical in maintaining a smooth and productive learning and working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve a range of technical issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.), and university-supported software.

• Provide technical support via phone, email, in-person assistance, and ticketing systems.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while delivering exceptional customer service to all users.

• Utilize skills in Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, and MS Office 365 to effectively perform job duties.

• Monitor and maintain accurate and detailed records related to customer credit applications.

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

• Keep track of customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Proficient in Citrix Technologies

• Experience with Database Management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Proficient in Lotus Notes

• Strong Microsoft Suite Skills

• Knowledge of Active Directory

• Experience with Computer Hardware

• Familiarity with Configuration Management

• Experience in Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware

• Proficiency in MS Office 365

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work

• Strong customer service skills

• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
