Responsibilities

Position Title: Global Product Line Specialist – Artificial Lift

Position Location: 2000 St. James Place, Houston TX 77056

Hours: Mon -Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Summary of Duties:

Analyze, plan, organize, and commercialize Rotaflex long stroke and conventional pumping unit products and/or services, based on needs expressed by product line, from inception (Research and Development) into implementation, commercialization, and training. Support product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. Define and direct product strategy by gathering input and business needs from customers, creating a product-based solution to generate revenue and/or create value. Work with Research, Development, and Engineering (RD&E) to progress Product Line products and/or services. Evaluate requests for new technology changes, enhancements, and new features. Work with Project Management and Engineering teams to implement solutions. Review progress of product life cycle. Create product improvement content (tech alerts, updated field procedures and work instructions). Define and monitor key performance indicator’s (KPIs). Maintain the Global Product Line’s training requirements.

25% domestic and international travel required.

Hybrid in-office/remote

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related quantitative field of study and 4 years of experience in a Sales Engineering position related to mechanical reciprocating rod lift equipment and services.

In addition, the applicant must have demonstrative experience with:

  • 4 years of Reciprocating Rod lift experience, including system design, repair and maintenance for long stroke and conventional pumping units;

  • 1 year of experience managing maintenance programs related to mechanical equipment;

  • Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Permanent Magnet Motors (PMMs), induction motors and rod pump controllers applied to pumping unit applications;

  • Nodal Analysis Software, WellFlo, JEMS, RODSTAR, CFER, VALCAL, SROD, and PROSPER;

  • mathematical operations including frequency distributions, test reliability and validity, variance analysis, correlation techniques, and factor analysis;

  • preparing communications and presentations for all managerial levels and technical abilities in a diverse multicultural and multilingual environment; and

  • evaluating oil & gas tenders, market conditions and operational requirements.

    Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
