Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

Adecco is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician in Houston, Tx. As an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing both electrical and mechanical systems. You will also perform millwright tasks including the installation, alignment, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and millwright techniques. Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays 2PM-10PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on machinery and equipment, including both electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Perform millwright duties, such as machinery installation, alignment, and overhauls.

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless plant operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an electromechanical maintenance technician or millwright.

  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience with millwright work, including machine alignment, installation, and repair.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Bilingual – English and Spanish

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electromechanical or millwright fields preferred.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
