Job Description: Accounting Manager - Greenspoint Area

Our client, a profitable and growing sales and service provider located in the Greenspoint area, has reached a point in their growth where they are adding an Accounting Manager to their team. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of the company's financial systems. This includes:

• Preparing and analyzing balance sheets and income statements

• Managing the company's accrual-based accounting processes

• Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and maintaining strong internal controls

• Processing and managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Maintaining banking relationships and preparing financial reports for company owners

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting is required

Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting and US GAAP

Experience with maintaining internal controls

Comfort with hands-on transactional work, including AP and AR processing

Requirements
