Title: Construction Accountant

Growing Construction company located in North Houston is looking for a strong Construction Accountant to add to their team!

Focus includes:

• Compile and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to guarantee accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.

• Support the development of budgets and forecasts by offering insights derived from financial data analysis.

• Prepare and record journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments, to ensure the general ledger accurately reflects financial information.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, including sales tax, use tax, and income tax.

• Utilize Viewpoint software to improve financial processes, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.

  Targeting candidates with:

  -Degree in Accounting/Finance required

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role/similar industry

  -Strong understanding of WIP, job costing and revenue recognition

• Viewpoint is highly preferred.

• This role sits 100% onsite, with flexible hours

• Offering up to $85K depending on experience
