Job Summary:

  • Attain Excellence in learning and competency events

  • Ensure safe, timely and compliant operations at the well site, job location or plant, including rig-up and rig-down of equipment

  • Mentor others as required

  • Participate in pre-job planning, ensuring the right equipment will be available and procedures are up to date

  • Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs

  • Engage Customer contacts to promote company products and services

  • Act as back-up for first level of management, when requested

  • Conduct research or troubleshooting on site

  • Inspecting equipment and technologies

  • Resolving onsite malfunctions

  • Manage field activities and implement engineering designs

  • Diagnose construction or machinery problems

  • Resolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise

  • Oversee repairs and technical improvements

  • Install New Systems and technology

  • Inspect and test material and machinery for safety

  • Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment

  • Cleanliness of site / breakdown storage of company owned equipment

  • Supervise and direct onsite crew

  • Draft and submit reports

  • Must be able to understand P&ID's, single line drawings, and Controls equipment and pull drawings / procedures from Document control as necessary

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field or strong previous field specialist / tech background

  • Well-versed in technical aspects of field projects, including machinery and equipment - Understanding of safety guidelines

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to handle self in professional manner in front of clients

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills - An analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability

  • Ability to work in adverse weather, overtimes, weekends

  • Candidates must be able to live and reside in the US without sponsorship.

The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

  • At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly salary rate is $26.00-$30.00.
