Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the equipment sales industry, located in Houston, Texas. The role involves handling various accounting tasks in an office setting, requiring a detail-oriented and organized approach.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough account reconciliation and maintain accurate records

• Perform general ledger tasks and ensure accuracy of financial data

• Prepare and record journal entries as part of accounting procedures

• Handle sales and inventory analysis to understand financial performance

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Prepare tax reports to comply with local and federal regulations

• Ensure all accounting activities adhere to established policies and regulations

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve overall accounting objectives

• Assist in the continuous improvement of accounting processes

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounting records. Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Proven experience as a senior accountant or similar role within the finance industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Deep knowledge and understanding of Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Demonstrated leadership skills and team management capabilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity

• Proven ability to manage projects, work independently, and drive results

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
